DOE Announces Webinars on Tribal Energy Project Financing, Building Re-tuning for Energy Efficiency, and More

The Energy Department's Office of Indian Energy, Tribal Energy Program, and Western Area Power Administration will present a live webinar titled "Introduction to Facility and Community Scale Project Financing" on Wednesday, August 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will focus on the various forms of financing for smaller renewable energy projects that serve an individual facility or community and will explore their advantages and disadvantages to tribal communities. Register to attend the webinar.

The Energy Department will also present a live webinar titled "Make Your Building Sing! Building Re-tuning to Reduce Energy Waste" on Tuesday, September 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will feature an Energy Department and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory curriculum focusing on re-tuning both large and small commercial buildings – a low-cost process to identify and correct operational problems that lead to energy waste.
